that's nice, i think the drums are quite original, but i'm not fond of the voice...do you know them ?

yeah...or one of them, Jake the drummer worked at a building I was painting at for 4 months. he heard my ipod playing on my boombox and we struck up a friendship over musical taste. they are good kids that formed their band a few years ago and have been "learning" their craft together. rough and uncut but they have a nice sound going, I like where they are coming from(besides my hometown) bluesy rock with a punk/alt edge. I started feeding him blues history, put together some discs and have been offering directions and outliers, Ravers/Zeitgeist, Savoy Brown, Neal's drumming, Roy Gallagher...that sort of thing to expand his musical horizons. he liked JNew, can't be all bad :)
they quit their jobs, loaded up on a bus and went out west to find their musical fortunes...gotta support that


The thing i like best about deciphering Joanna's songs...i'm always wrong.
