Is it really that bad to comment on an old post that nobody has commented on? Is it hurting you? Is it annoying anyone? NO. All it can possibly do is make the original poster feel that someone has noticed their post and acknowledged how good it is. Trolling and spamming are meant to be destructive to forums and my posts certainly are not. Complain about me in the complaints thread, we'll see how the moderator acts. Nobody else has complained about my posts and I think you are overreacting.

Well, there is a place for mainstream pop and a separate place for more complex niche music. Very occasionally the two may overlap, but generally they don't.
I think the nature of finding broad mainstream success is being massively attention seeking and self-promoting in order to stay on people's radar at any cost.

So, whatever floats your boat, I guess.
I thought her first stuff was passable catchy pop fare, but her last album derailed into generic anthems and predictable rehashing.

I just think the constant religion/Jesus/Christian bashing is cheap, old, and sometimes a little disturbing.

Otherwise I'd say her music's catchy for a club setting, but beyond that it's nothing special. And I find all her visual "symbolism" in her music videos and appearance just uninteresting and lame.

Sean, I totally agree with you and that article! I also get really annoyed that Gaga makes herself out to be this queer icon and then goes and makes cissexist comments (i.e. equating being unattractive with being transgender). And some of the terms she uses in Born This Way are just plain racist.
