Beautiful

My camp choir sang Till Ungdommen. I was at camp during the Norway Massacre, and because we are so close, we decided to make our closing program (at the day where all of the camps get together, each camp does a short demonstration of their culture.) about Norway and also peace. So we took Til Ungdommen and translated part into Swedish and another part into English, so people would understand. One of the violinist in this group is a terrile singer, and you'll hear it. One of my friends learned how to play ukulele for this.
2 guitars, 2 violins, 2 ukes, 15 people. Enjoy.



My Swedish teacher's theme for the class this year was 'fiction, rap, and poetry', so we read Carl Micheal Bellman, Hedvig Nordenflycht, Pär Lagerkvist (the Nobel Prize winner), and also Erik Johan Stagnelius.
My favourite was Nordenflycht. She was the first woman to make a living as a writer in Sweden.
This is one of my all time favourite poems.
