for me it is his time with Sonic Youth that strikes me most...listen this guy is all over the boards, from way out there to way in there and back again. how to classify him? I loved SY way back when but to pick his work out from the rest of the "noise" is almost impossible and now he is an excellent producer, where can one put his finger down and say this is O'Rourke? Don't even get me wrong i have immense respect for his skill and body of work
