bjork is 2 things. first thing is her voice. i havent met many people who argue that shes an incredible singer.. but its a matter of taste i guess. personally i think shes the best singer in the world

The thing I adore about Vespertine is how it sounds like the whole album is made of crystal and glass... it's like a love story set in the aftermath of the world laid out in Radiohead's Kid A, a world which is so cold but its inhabitants occasionally stumble on the purest forms of beauty. Top 5 album of all time.

She said that Vespertine was an album about going out into your garden in the middle of the night, and seeing all these things moving and happening that its almost like you're not supposed to see.

She has this voice gimmick she got during those years and that i hate, voice is really tired and not smooth, this gameleste is a cheap trick, sounds like a glockenspiel melt in overdub with celeste, no necessary to spend millions building it, the reactable makes a poor conveniant break pace in the 4/4, it's extremely linear until the d&b apéritif at the end, and it's only last few seconds. And the lyrics, OMG, it's ridiculous...What it said on the french forum is that is the base of the "home made"mix you can do with the ipad, but i still think the voice is awful and the melody is poor...
sorry, i'm still thinking Björk is over now. I'm devoted to her for 14years and done my extreme fan job, now i think i just don't buy this crap...
