These are amazing

Absolutely love her new album. My favorite album of hers in a long long time. The classical direction totally suits her. I'm also surprisingly fond of her daughter's vocal performances. They add an interesting contrasting layer to many of the songs.

I have a very old copy of Boys For Pele that I've listened to quite a bit in the past. It's pretty great Love Professional Widow, Little Amsterdam, Caught a Lite Sneeze, Blood Roses, Muhammed My Friend (and Mr. Zebra... ). Haven't looked into her further for some reason. My friend linked me Ireland once and I thought it was the naffest song I ever heard.

I love Boys for Pele. Little Amsterdam is my favourite song from that album. My sister went to see her a few weeks back in Manchester and said she was fantastic (she got front row seats the lucky so and so). Everyone sounds pretty positive about the new album...might give it a try tomorrow.

Ok, giving you Ireland was just plain mean. Some people say it's one of her worst songs on one of her worst albums.

I've been listening to Pele a lot more, reckon I'm ready to venture further. I'm fairly interested in Scarlet's Walk, so I think that'll be my next move? Good idea?

Scarlet's Walk is my absolute favorite! I love "Pancake," "Sweet Sangria," "Crazy," "Mrs. Jesus" and "Taxi Ride."

I'm getting rid of a scarlet's walk tour program if anyone wants. If not I could scan and post if anyone wants to see. Just putting it out there cos its going in the trash!
