that's the deviation on the accent thread digression, i know some here are fuckingly awsome origins, we had such a thread in the previous forum. Here's mine: probably tunisian (perhaps belgian, hum it's a dark side of my history)+corsian (as corsica declare herself apart from france), latvian and alsacian (as alsacia declare herself apart from france)but this alsacian part is directly linked with a prussian origin, my name is actually totally germanic no alsacian, but i don't speak german, only english, and not very well alex is a 400% scot i guess, at least, at the measure of how you defend scotlant!!!
Hehe, I'm not that much of a nationalist, actually! I defend Scotland a lot, really? But I am Scottish and I guess I speak about Scotland. As far as I know I'm 3/4 Scottish, 1/4 Irish (1/8 from either side). All my grandparents were born here, but half of my great-grandparents were Irish. There's not even any English in there, as far as I'm aware. Pretty bland origins, there.
I'm mostly Eastern European... One of my grandparents was of Russian Ashkenazi origin, one was Polish Ashkenazi, one Hungarian (not Jewish), and one British (also not Jewish). Not terribly exciting... Most Canadians (at least around where I live) have pretty multi-national backgrounds.

Well my mum and both her parents are Irish so that makes me 1/2 Irish. My dad's parents were born in Hungary and Germany but my dad himself was born in London. So does that make me 1/2 irish, 1/4 hungarian and 1/4 german or does my dad's birthplace impact my nationality too?
Everyone else has such an interesting mix of blood. Mine is probably the same as about 99% of people in Scotland. >< Maybe I should research my ancestry and find out that there's someone exotic in there.
I'm half Polish ("a nice Polish girl" as I've been told by cheerful old men when they read my name) and half Croatian, but Croatia-by-way-of-Italy (passed through there for a while on the way to the USA)
And he used to make me pray, wearing a mask like a death's head. When he put me there in the back seat, and he said, "Jesus save me, Jesus save me."
Erm, 1/8 Danish is all I'm really positive on (my grandpa's mother's family is pure Danish). Most of my other family has been in America for quite a while, and when I trace some lines back, they all reach England. But I've been able to trace back to like, four people? And far more people than that have been involved in my making since the 1600s. So all I'm sure on is Danish, and English.
