Is anybody here artsy? We have a writing thread, but no art thread! I Draw. I love illustration. I hope to re-illustrate some of my favourite children\\\'s books someday. So post your creations!

i paint a lot between 20 and 25 old, draws made 15 years ago, sara you have to make a real chiffon doll from that draw!

Those ones in red ink especially are really really really cool.

Wow you guys are so talented! I wish I could draw. Milky I especially love the one second from the bottom, gorgeous ink drawing and love the sense of space. Rainbow that kraken drawing looks professional I love it.

I do something called spriting. It's pixel art! It's a lot of fun. You load up MSpaint and you dot each pixel. This is my best sprite so far.

I need to digitize/take pictures of a few of my pieces- haven't done it in a loong time- but in High School I won a US Congressional Medal of Merit for a painting I did that then was sent around in a display tour.
Also went to art school in NYC for a couple years out of high school

I haven't done anything in a while, but if you go to (greatly in need of updating) you can see a couple of small portraits I did over 30 years ago, plus several life-drawings and paintings I did as an undergrad at Arizona State University about 15 years ago, as well as a small sketch of a friend's apartment during a neighborhood art meet-up about 2 years ago. Unfortunately, I have trouble with self-motivation when it comes to art. It's a lot easier to stay involved when I hang around with other artists, even online. Maybe this thread will help with that.

I love to make dolls. I am really bad at doing wigs. That pig you drew, celia, is adorable! And Rainbow, is your name really Yve? That\\\'s so pretty! I wish I had the patience to do pixel art. I mostly craft. And draw. I do a lot o embroidery. I just sent my friend a little scrap that says \\\'Be a Woman\\\'. I can\\\'t paint. I don\\\'t have enough patience. And I need lots of control. Plus, painting is an expensive hobby.
