I was wondering. Do you guys associate people more with username than real name?
Am I ursula to you? or am I sara?
weird is always tom. ann is always priscilla. but jordan is jordan and polli is polli. it's strange.

To be fair, I am Jordan on my passport. Alex is my middle name and I don't use Jordan.
Pretty interchangeable for me, really. I think of Weirdelves mostly as Tom though, Polli always as Polli, Celia as Milki, Priscilla as Ann.

Though I know their first names, I use Polliwog and Milki (even though that's not even her username anymore), but I'm pretty sure for the rest of you guys that I know, I use first names.

I feel 'special', 'insulted', or 'none of the above'.

I'm glad that you guys think of me as Tom, 'Weirdelves' is an old username that I used when I was like 14 and no longer really have any connection with. polli is polli and jordan is jordan. I dunno ann is interchangeable for me. But you are neither ursula nor are you sara, you are little bear.

Celia is milki. She can never escape that. I think she even signed the letter she sent me as 'Milki'. I didn't know Jordan was your actual name. I thought it's like how I am ursula. I think it is super interesting to hear about people's usernames. Also, Tom, dear, I love having pet names. I always call my gentlemen callers 'my pet' or 'mon chou' or 'alskling' or something like that. Little Bear is very cute too. I call ann Prisca, because once she signed a letter like that (yes! we still write to each other, three years after her posting the penpal thread in the fray). And Beverley is Bev, because I am lazy. Also, I never capitalise ursula. ever.

I always refer to everyone by their usernames here. For me to call someone by their real name implies I have a fairly close connection with them... Which, I don't feel I yet have because I believe I am still a fairly new addition to the community.

And I think Riv is the only person to call me Mike!

I think I refer to pretty much everyone by their actual name, if they've given it. I guess I just assumed that if people had stated their real name, they preferred it if people called them by it. I might be totally wrong, though!

I may be wrong, but I don't remember anyone here using my given name, other than he-who-has-been-banned-twice.
