"Onigiri", it's tipical ballrice in Japan. For cooking a good one it's better to have a rice cooker, but you can use a normal pot as well. You need sushi rice, you have to wash it different time, starting with less water, and then adding more and changing water until is clear. After that you put the rice on the rice cooker - a cup of rice = a cup of water, so same rice same water- or on the normal capped pot, and you wait until the water is totally absorbed. Then you need salt and cool water, you put your hands on water and then put a little bit of salt on your palms, take the rice to make little balls giving the shape you want, you can add salmon, tunfish, sesamseeds, or shiso (perilla, it's japanese basilicum, very tasty). They are very yummy!

my best friend is a huge cake, pie maker and i want to find for him THE best traditional american pie recipes book, could anyone can help me? top ten on amazon.com don't convince me and some aren't available on amazon.fr
This is my favorite desert recipe ever. http://www.blondieandbrownie.com/2008/1 ... e-pie.html It may sound weird, but it's so good. The contrast of the sweet pear with the bitter cheese really makes it so much better than just an all-sweet pie.
And he used to make me pray, wearing a mask like a death's head. When he put me there in the back seat, and he said, "Jesus save me, Jesus save me."

Of course, I have one aim, the grotesque. If I am not grotesque I am nothing.
I don't know any pie recipes, or I would. I could ask my grandma and see what she's got! She's a great cook, and she comes from the south, where real Americans live. ! Mmmm, coconut cream pie is one of the only ones pies I like to eat.
One of my favorite meals from childhood: biscuits and chocolate gravy. I've never heard of a single other person who eats it, but my grandma used to cook it for us for breakfast all the time. Then, when I was in Arkansas at a buffet, they had it! So weird. Who came up with putting chocolate pudding on biscuits?! (American biscuits are not british biscuits -- do you guys even have biscuits over there...?) Ooooh, now I want some fried okra too. Good thing I'm going to GA soon, I love Southern food!
