Oh, I saw J. Edgar!
Leo was e-x-c-e-l-l-e-n-t!
(That is said with an obligatory Italian-style finger-kiss)
He's such a great actor, he always chooses such interesting roles and does so well in them.
(Needless to say he's done so much better for himself since Titanic so it's kind of annoying how that's the one people remember but)
That said, I did have some problems with the way the plot was laid out, seemed like it was bordering on just a quick montage sometimes rather than showing the whole action playing out. There were some aspects I felt were dragged out while others weren't looked into or even mentioned.
J. Edgar Hoover
was a real scumbag, but Leo played it beautifully.
Now I'm looking forward to seeing him in both
The Great Gatsby AND an upcoming Sinatra biopic (Scorsese!)
