I hope she isn't having to buy any of these dresses we've seen here. She looks so much better in them than any of the runway models, she should be paid to wear them.

Joanna's dress and clutch from the Portlandia premiere were ID'd by the By a Spring for a Spell tumblr:

It's not my favorite thing she's worn, to be honest. I don't think the off-the-shoulder sleeve is very flattering (thought the same thing about the white and red striped dress she wore on Letterman). The hem length is pretty of-the-moment, but it makes her look a lot shorter than she is. And I still think the bangs aren't doing her any favors. The clutch is cute, though!

I'm not a fashion person but I think the dress makes her chest look great and the bangs are adorable. She needed a little change, I like them. A little old school Joanna.

i love the open chest, she has wonderful boobs it's flattering, but i think the same as claire about shoulder and length, under the knee would be better, i'd wear contrasting heels instead of black, maybe bright pink, love the bangs, yes a little old school joanna is a nice thing

I think the length creates an imbalanced look. Even floor length would be better.

She always looks better than the models. Oh, wait a minute. Haven't I said that before, more than once? Well, she does look better!

That was my first thought, but...anyone who is not just skin and bones will have enough of a belly that it might produce a similar shadow from a light directly overhead. I certainly hope that she doesn't read our comments and think that we are calling her 'fat'!

I know you guys don't mean anything by it, but it's pretty offensive to suggest that a woman might pregnant because there is even a slight visible "imperfection" in her stomach region.
