Last Night's SNL

rumor that this is Joanna singing in her Dolly Parton impersonation
Anyone else think it may be true?

Kind of funny that while a few SNL members were in the audience at Carnegie Hall a few weeks ago Joanna mentioned Dolly Parton being a goddess and last night there was a whole Samberg written sketch around a Dolly Parton song

Stumblin'

Hummm.. doesn't sound like her to me. But if it is she did a good job of sounding totally different.

Yeah, I don't think that's her, it sounds totally different, and if she is as untrained as she claims to be, I doubt she could pull this off.

I would find it hard to believe that she could sound so different. Her voice has always been (notoriously) instantly recognizable...

well a cartoonish country twang would mask alot of that- and is one of the easier accents to pull off to sing
Not that I think it is her

Being a huge fan of Joanna & Andy, the moment I saw this on SNL this past weekend I instantly thought it was her. The only time they have ever worked together is when Joanna sang background vocals for 'Ras Trent' which was on The Lonely Island's first album Incredibad & I wonder why they haven't worked on anything else. They both have a sense of humor and like the same type of music.
Anyway, I somewhat thought this was Joanna, but after reading this and re watching the video (which is hilarious by the way) the more I think it might be Joanna & it is freaking me out! I could swear I heard a little Joanna type squeak in the beginning.

TLI & Joanna collaborating would be my dream come true :luv:

I don't think that's Joanna singing either -- but , that's definitely her in the same digital short playing the " painter with an easel " . Right ?
