720x480 is the DVD format for the USA. The original video posted by schlacking was already in divx format at 640x368. Some members of the forum preferred to have it as a DVD, so I converted it. It converted to 720x480. That doesn't mean that the source you pm'd is posting the version I converted. But, for it to be a better copy than the one I made, it would have to be from schlacking's original tape, before he processed it.

Does a Flac version of the 2006 Live @ bottletree exist?
I only ask because it was a SBD recording. - Edit: I found a flac, just not from the SBD :(

Hey guys, I just recently came across a really great quality recording from Munich in 2005. Not sure if it's already been mentioned on here before. Highlights are Sawdust & Diamonds and Cosmia (a while before they were released!), Three Little Babes on the harp, and Jo's friend Ariella Daly joining her on the flute on What We Have Known, This Side of the Blue, and En Gallop. I found it on this website: http://www.bigozine2.com/archive/ARrari ... unich.html

The download links were no longer active and I had to email the owners to reactivate them for me. Looks like they've since been taken back down. If I can figure out how, I could upload the files to some sharing site if anyone is interested. Or you could probably shoot the owners an email and they'd probably gladly reactivate the links for anyone.

Recently I've been doing a lot of digging through the depths of the internet to find old JNew bootlegs. I was so happy when I came across this gem, so just thought I'd share! :glee: <3

Munich 2005 was my first Joanna show! :) A local radio station recorded the show and it was broadcasted a couple of weeks later. I have a recording of that broadcast as well, if anyone is interested - though I believe it has been floating around for some time.

So jealous that you were there! I still have yet to see her live...

I've created a Dropbox folder for the files. Hopefully it works, I've never used this before...

Thank you sooo much for sharing!

I'm so bummed. I've downloaded it twice and it's telling me the compressed zip file is invalid. What could I be doing wrong? :(

The tracks people have shared on tumblr are amazing.

I remember very well how shy and nervous Joanna seemed to be. The venue is tiny and there were only about 80 people in the audience, sitting just a few meters away from the harp on little benches or standing by the bar (the ongoing clinking of glasses and bottles was rather annoying). I'm not quite sure if there even was a stage of the usual sort, Joanna just walked through the audience. I recall that she was quite put out with a guy in the front who appeared to videotape the concert and she asked him several times (very politely) to stop it.

It was the first time I ever listened to her (a friend took me to the concert) and it was INTENSE. Very intimate, mainly because of the venue and small audience but of course also because of Joanna's unusual personality, her music and way of singing at that time. We were all in awe, particularly the guys.

"Yarn and Glue" wasn't broadcasted, and there was a song from "The Last Unicorn", but I believe the setlist is otherwise complete.

I'm so happy that there is such a good recording of that show. <3 Much better than the awkward radio recording I did. Thank you!

That sounds amazing Julia!

Hey, does anyone by any chance have any live boots of Joanna playing Ys with an orchestra? I've found a few download links through Google but they're all broken now. :(

Thanks a lot for sharing sean !
Great show and great audio ! <3 :notworthy:

Especially great versions of her songs with her friend playing flute.

Too bad Sprout of the bean is splitted but the rest offsets easily.

Hello, I'm a new member, long time reader :)
I was wondering if anyone had Joanna live at BAM? or live at the fox theatre in '10? I've been looking but all I can come up with are dead links :|

While waiting for a new album, I started listening to different Joanna's bootlegs quite a lot. But some of them seem to be hard to find and a lot of the links in this thread are broken.
Does anyone have the recordings of her shows in Richmond or Boston?

Ahh posted this in the wrong thread!

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I just stumbled upon these 2004 recordings on one of the Facebook pages and thought I'd share it with you guys-

Only time I've seen her play Inflammatory Writ on the harp, it's pretty special! There's also a super early (2005) video of Sawdust and Diamonds :luv:
