Hi to anyone who reads this!
It looks as though MilkyMoon is almost dormant now: I think there was a complete month (Feb) with no postings at all, and - but for some admin - March would have suffered the same fate, too.
However, if I'm the only one here, I guess it won't offend anyone if I put up another JNST.
It will start slowly and gently with the obscurities in the preliminary phase over the next few weeks, and - just maybe - a few visitors will come along and participate later on (that does not, of course, mean that all-comers aren't welcome even in the early stages).
Anyone lacking knowledge on the obscurities is invited to contact me by PM, as in the past, for assistance in familiarising yourself with some of these songs. And - as before - I'll repeat my appeal for information / files / links from last year ...
PS - Does anyone have any information as to whether Joanna participated in either of the "ensemble' pieces at the Fleetwood Mac event, or did she only appear on the song she sang solo? Perhaps someone here (or on FB) attended the concert and could give a definitive answer.
1) Does anyone have audio files of France and/or The French Lieutenant's Dreams performed with Philip Glass & Tim Fain that they would be prepared to send me, please? [The Orchard has kindly been found]. Also, any Joanna material that’s on the ‘director’s cut’ of Family Jams, but not on the new DVD.
2) Did Joanna appear on any song at the Fleetwood Mac tribute other than Beautiful Child. I am aware that the show opener was Tusk, and that a group performance of Don’t Stop closed the show, but have not seen any evidence that Joanna appeared on either of these songs, and so I have not included them as yet.
3) Did Joanna appear on the finale to the Muppets soundtrack, Life’s A Happy Song. It’s listed as an entire cast performance, so I'll include it in the JNST.
4) Little Picture of You: Joanna is not credited for this track on Kevin Barker's 2010 album, but does anyone know if she guested on a live or unreleased version?? - I have continued to include this song in the JNST.
