Joanna Newsom / Robin Pecknold collaboration
Posted: 03 Dec 2016, 19:27Word on the street is that Robin Pecknold released an unofficial recording with a singer who sounds very like JN... this is mainly speculation at the moment, but let's imagine it's legit, what do we think?
Seems like a natural complement to me. They've been associated for several years and hasn't RP / The Fleet Foxes often opened for JN gigs?
This could be a new stage in JN's career where she goes back to the music a little more (I'm thinking here some of the early side projects she did like Nervous Cop, that "Instrumental 1999" or whatever it was called, and the Philip Glass gig.
