the ticketmaster surcharges are pure robbery.

I'm surprised that the Lincoln Theatre and Union Transfer shows are general admission. I've never been to either venue but I know Lincoln Theatre usually sells reserved seats. Either way it looks like I'm going to need to get to both places super early.

Anybody ever used stubhub before? I'd like to get Brooklyn tickets to be super up front but is this site legit?

Stubhub is essentially legalized scalping. Scalpers buy up blocks of tickets at the moment of regular sale and then post them on Stubhub, sometimes within a matter of minutes. I tried to buytickets to a major show through ticketmaster. The show was listed as sold out a minute or so after tickets went on sale. On the page, though, ticketmaster was telling me tickets were available through Stubhub. I had not heard of that outlet. I checked and tickets were being sold for at least four times face value. This was all within a few minutes of the start of the sale. I called ticketmaster and a customer service rep confirmed my suspicion that ticketmaster and stubhub were working together. I'd say ticketmaster was getting kickbacks on the scalped tickets. If eBay is running stubhub, eBay gets a percentage of the sales. Scalping is selling tickets for amounts over the face value.
I suppose if anyone wants to support scalping and is willing to pay more than face value then that's their choice.

Ticket reselling aka scalping has been legitimized through these platforms for some time now. Artists, managers, promoters, FIFA, NFL, etc all collude with the venues and Ticketmaster to hold off as many blocks as they deem able to resell on a secondary market for whatever price the demand will pay. Whether this is VIP meet and greet, AMEX presales, Stubhub remnant sales, etc.

So as long as you are OK that everyone is OK with scalping.

I, once like you, would never support scalping and took some shaky, non-existent moral high ground until I realized who really profits - and if you want to see a show on their terms you have to play their game = and now all I do is win, win, win when I play.

Yeah, unless she set up a Patreon or something there's no way you can see her perform or even listen to her music without a bunch of needless middlemen skimming off most of the money.

Tickets aren't supposed to go on sale until tomorrow for the Austin concert, yet all of the floor tickets and most of the balcony tickets are already being sold on queenbeetickets for at least 4 times the original price :/
