Just for fun, I did another little experiment using the above eight lists.

First of all, I considered only each person's top eleven (why 11? because it so happened that this eliminated all ties).

A total of 38 songs appeared in these eight top-11s.

I then tabulated these 38 using three criteria:
[1]. Number of lists appeared in
[2]. Average position is said lists (counting an arbitrary 20th position for any lists in which it didn't appear)
[3]. Total 'points' using the above lists.

Pleasingly, these three criteria all produced the same ordering, down to 11th place (excepting some ties in [1], and Divers and Cosmia being reversed on [3]). This ordering is as follows {with each song's position in the JNST shown in braces}:

Three songs from the top eleven of JNST5 do not appear in the above chart:
Go Long {7}, Baby Birch {8}, and Kingfisher {10}.
