Another month and another low-ball possible-maybe-kinda hint at a new record from Drag City:

So it seems like whatever they mentioned in the newsletter is it for this year and they say the last release they have to announce are these releases they go on talking about....

Anyone else recall how excited we were this time last year when it was rumoured that a new record would be out that month? Siiiigh.

At least Van Dyke Parks' tweets from earlier in the year give us something resembling confirmation of a new album in the works.

Blegh.

Why bother reading their newsletters at all? Guessing would be more reliable.
