Ann, thank you for the lyrics. I'm working on transcribing them, too. Is it possible this is what she's singing?

Here is my take on the lyrics, obviously with a few that need clarification/correction:

I hope somebody recorded the entire show. Not just for me to listen to, but for posterity's sake.

Reminds me of some of our mishearings of HOOM - "Well darling, just be honest, you were called to Castlemaine by the silver dollar" turned out to be "Well don't that just beat all, Miss Gilbert called to Castlemaine by the silver dollar". Andrew and Ann's transcription seems about as close as we're gonna get, I think - the difficult parts ("severing world"? I hear something like "sirring whirl", which doesn't help at all...) are too difficult to work out without another recording or a lyric booklet, I think.

The new song is incredible, and the lyrics too.

I'm fairly certain that she's singing "shucking" and not "shocking" considering the myriad allusions to oysters in the song.

So, I really liked the version of "The Orchard" that they did (and a few other of the Glass pieces with harp as well). Anyone know if there's a chance it'll ever be up? I listened to the original version and it just wasn't as good, now that I've heard what JNew does to it.
