Experience warns me ACL plans to air only part of the concert but New West recently began issuing complete concerts by a variety of performers across the genres. New West does a good job with the DVDs they release so I hope to see them issue one for Joanna, even if I catch the broadcast.

ACL has its own venue to tape at (not the Paramount Theatre). As far as I know, no ACL performance has ever been taped anywhere other than the original studio on UT campus or the new venue that opened up a few months ago.
So maybe this is like a warmup/rehearsal gig the night before? I haven't seen the taping date yet, so....

of course, it is JoNew, so maybe they will make history and tape somewhere else

either way, I got a ticket 3rd row center except I haven't actually received the ticket yet. a bit worrying. best ticket I've ever got!

as expected, she is taping the next night. Hopefully I can get in! Just made it to the new venue last week (to see Explosions in the Sky) and it is a really nice place. Would love to see Jo there.

Also as expected, my ticket for the night before has supposedly already been sent, but the theatre said we can work something out at will call if I don't find it.
