Just noticed this on Drag City so have, predictably bought myself a ticket.
Both times I've seen Joanna in Paris have been the best shows I've seen her play so I couldn't miss this one, could I?

Oh man. I've been to two shows in Paris myself, and they were perfect. Tempted!

Hey guys I had a couple questions about this show, was hoping someone could help me.

Is this a seated venue? Has anyone been there before? I bought my ticket from digitick.com and even though there seems to be seats from the pictures I've looked at of Le Trianon, I can't find any info about what my seat is from digitick or from my e-ticket they sent me. I can't even find a seating chart for the venue online (or much info about it at all really). Important note: My comprehension of French is extremely limited, which is why I'm wondering if I'm missing something.

I e-mailed digitick early last week and got no reply. Help?? Anyone???

btw, this theater is pretty nice. And yes, as Oneofthose explained, these are non-numbered seats.

Thanks for the help people, good to hear it's a nice venue. The one time I've seen her, in Toronto, was at a club usually reserved for rock shows, didn't work that well. The show was still amazing but it was definitely despite the venue rather than being enhanced by it.

Guess I'll have to show up a few hours early for this one, too bad 'cause I wouldn't have minded spending the day roaming the streets of Paris. And avoiding the panic and chaos. Can't have it all, though!

Anyone know the approximate capacity of this place?

The Trianon really isn't a big theater, twice bigger than Les Bouffes du Nord (last joanna's show in Paris), but it's still quite small. ~ 1000 seats

And don't worry, no need to come 2-3 hours before the beginning =)
15-30 minutes before the beginning should be wayyyy enough. Especially if you're alone (there's always one free seat between people)

Really? Oh man that would definitely be a different situation in Toronto, especially under these circumstances.

the tuning part (she spent like 5minutes tuning the harp) was pretty fun

Probably the best concert Joanna played in Päris! (Allthough the one she had done at La Cigale was great).
Everything was just perfect! Her vocals skills are now amazing and Joanna really has one of the best voices I've ever heard!

A few hours after the show I was lucky enough to meet Joanna. My friend and I were sat in what was perhaps the grubbiest looking restaurant on the whole strip. Anyway, my friend looked up and said that Joanna was there. Obviously I thought he was pulling my leg, but low and behold, it was her! She was buying a crepe. I asked for a photo and she was more than obliging. Unfortunately I didn't ask her anything, as it all happened so quickly and I was shaking too much. I found it difficult to make eye contact with her! However, I'm just glad that I didn't come across as a rampant, psychotic fanboy. I also didn't want to gild the lily. It was a perfect moment; unexpected and with no other crazy fans about. I'm still overwhelmed by it, as it was all a bit surreal; for her to come into that very restaurant. It wasn't even near the venue. Anyway, here's the photo:

I thought I saw her selling bus tickets at a desk at Stansted Airport, but then I realised that was really stupid and besides, the person selling tickets spoke with a Slavic accent. But she did look so much like her!
