So she's talking about her band, and I yell "Joanna! I have a present for you!". She walked over to me and took the doll. Said it was an "Awesome little doll". Then, she sat down and smiled at me. She saw I was crying (from excitement) and smiled at me!

Neal took the setlist off the floor and handed it to me and said I earned it. He went over to the harp and got one for Kirsten (awful atoll). He signed it and I talked to him about "A Tall Tale" he said he doesn't even remember the words! He said that it was a badass little doll. Then I waited out back for Joanna, and she said that she loves my lipstick ( I told her it was 99 cent from Wal-Mart). She said that she loves that I put all her moles on the doll. She let me touch her hair, and signed my Joanna singlet, the Monkey & Bear page of the YS booklet, and my setlist. It was the perfect night.

She also talked about honey and Ursala was like, "You get the best honey from Sweden, Joanna. It's on the back of the money." So cute.
I swear that Ursula was going to burst from pride when Joanna took that doll! I have pictures to put up later. I think she might have been a bit hysterical, which made everythig all the more fun.
Easily the happiest night of eternity.

I'm thinking of waiting around after her show when I go next year, but how on earth do you know where to find her? And do you usually have to wait for around an hour?

I've come back to read this thread a number of times. Ursula, I'm so excited for you and Kirsten! My experience at the Orpheum in Phoenix seems so bland by comparison with yours in Tampa, and yet mine wasn't bland at all. What a night yours must have been!

She came out after about 30 minutes, but sometimes it can be up to 2 hours. I just asked to touch her hair, and she laughed and said sure. her tour bus was by the back entrance, and there were about 25 people hanging 'round for her there. it was a totally unreal experience. she was super sweet, and laughed when she spelled ursula wrong.

no. ursula. when i went to camp, i found it on the list, and they way it was spelled there is the way i;ve always spelled it.
