First time I've ever wished to live in Tel Aviv.

oh man that's amazing. there was a concert in japan, i think, which was just insane! hang on i'll try and find it now..

http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/joanna-ne ... 408b6.html

i think i would be suicidal with happiness, she hasn't played jackrabbits that much and i love it so much (seen it once). as well as bridges and balloons! and the obvious ys gems & baby birch, ohhhhhh lucky lucky them.
this tour i've seen her play monkey and bear, emily and cosmia! (i've seen her a couple of times, not just one insane show). seeing as she hasn't played only skin at all this year i feel so so happy to have seen 3/4 that she's done! the next people to see only skin must be predestined to go to heaven or SOMETHING. (sorry late night philosophy essays taking over my brain processes)

all those are great sets, but yes- 14 songs in tel aviv makes for quite the longer evening and more is better, no? :naughty:

Downloading the sept 25 show from France, now- a beautiful audience recording - sadly missing last 2 tracks...

is it just me or is "On a Good Day" strangely absent from all these show lists? Is there some difficulty in preforming live that i am missing? Or vocal problem? Maybe it is just too personal...but then why would she list it as one of her favorite tunes from the album?

Well, if she isn't going to perform On a Good Day when I see her next month, then I might as well just sell my tickets now.

I would love to see her play some more Milk Eyed Mender when she comes to Richmond, VA. I'd kill for, "The Sprout & The Bean," or "Clam, Crab, Cockle, Cowerie." I'd also like to see, "Sawdust & Diamonds," as well, and always ever so hopeful to see, "Only Skin," but that is doubtful. Unfortunately, I feel like we'll have the same set list we did before when I saw in DC, it doesn't seem like she's really been playing up the setlist much. And what about, "Esme?" One of the best songs on the album also strangely absent recently. Well, I hope I get at least one these, but I really want, "Sprout & The Bean," that song changed my whole life!

Top 10 songs performed so far this year:

Easy
Inflammatory Writ
Good Intentions Paving Company
Soft as Chalk
Baby Birch
Peach, Plum, Pear
Have One On Me
Emily
'81
In California

the top 4 are all piano and until she has a few more piano numbers, I am going to guess you can expect to see them at every show at least the rest of this tour

She just broke out "Colleen" for the first time with this arrangement this year. It was done 3 other times from Jan to March.

Perhaps with this recent break they rehearsed a couple other songs with new arrangements

I'd love her to perform Flying a Kite because I think it's her best song, but I don't that will ever happen.
