I had given up checking a long time ago, so thanks for letting me know. It still remains to be seen whether or not I'll go. A lot depends on the seats that are available, and the cost.

She has been keeping her tickets very reasonable compared to other artists these days
Booking my flight now. Tuscon and Phoenix are about 2 hours apart- think I'll camp in between somewhere

Does being a music aficionado give you insider information, or have you simply found something online that I haven't? For instance, how do you know that the Rialto tickets will be on sale Friday when their website doesn't even show her on their calendar yet?

This Friday Aug 27 - Stinkweed Record Store in Phoenix is selling tickets for Joanna Newsom at the Orpheum Nov. 7th. Tickets are $29 and the best seats in the house.

Anyone in Phoenix can buy an extra ticket Friday? I can Paypal you ASAP

ah i was hoping maybe she'd return to ohio (missed her in march and forever regretting it). oh well. one day i will see her.

The National's website doesn't list her Nov. 20 show. It'd be nice to know when tickets go on sale. I think The National is a bit smaller than the theaters she played in Philly and DC in the spring so I expect tickets to sell out fast. I'm disappointed she's playing Ram's Head. That venue is horrible and if/when it sells out, late-comers will be forced to watch from obstructed vantage points, under stairways that lead to the balcony or wedged into corners. Poorly designed, for certain. Nearly ruined a perfectly good Decemberists show.

I called Stinkweed Records and was told that they can't be sure that the tickets will be available when they open tomorrow, or exactly what seats they will be able to sell. She suggested that I call back in the morning. I also checked Ticketmaster online and saw that tickets will go on sale at 10 am tomorrow for $35.50 each. I may just go that route.
